 Statement of protest against the invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Government

The recent military invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Government is an unacceptable act that destroys people's lives and safety by force. It is also an attack on the fundamental principle of research and education, namely mutual respect for all human beings, their cultures, histories and languages. We stand with all victims of this aggression and call for the immediate restoration of peace. We express our solidarity with all those who oppose any kind of act of violence.
