新しい海外留学協定校

　2005年、藤女子大学に新しい協定校が増えました。オーストラリアのグリフィス大学と韓国の明知大学です。

　グリフィス大学はオーストラリアでも人気の高い観光地として知られるブリスベンやゴールドコーストにかけて、5つのキャンパスをもつ大規模な大学です。

約一年間の協定留学では、規定の英語力に達した場合、Study Abroad Programの中で興味のある科目について広く学ぶことができます。また夏季・春季休業中、グリフィス大学の短期英語研修コースで受講した授業は、本学の英語単位読み替えの対象となりました（認定規定があります）。

　明知大学はソウルと近郊の龍仁にキャンパスをもつ、男女共学大学です。日本やその他の海外協定校も多く、留学生にとって勉強しやすい環境が整えられています。

日本語日本文学科もあることから、 6月から7月にかけて藤女子大学で開講された「日本語集中コース」には、明知大学の4名の女子学生が参加しました。

また8月に明知大学で実施された「Summer Korean Program」には、本学の学生が参加して交流を深めています。

New Affiliated Universities
in Australia and Korea

In 2005, Fuji Women’s University signed an agreement of academic exchange with two universities outside of Japan: Griffith University in Australia and Myongji University in Korea.

Griffith University has five campuses on the east coast of Queensland, ranging from Brisbane to Southport, also known as the Gold Coast campus in Australia’s “holiday capital”.

In the study abroad program students may take one or two semesters of courses of interest after they have achieved the required English skills. Students who take English courses at Griffith’s English Language Institute during their summer or spring holidays can receive English credit at Fuji Women’s University if they successfully pass the course. There are regulations for the accreditation.

Myongji University is a co-ed school with campuses in Seoul and Yongin. They have many affiliated universities outside of Korea, resulting in multicultural campuses which promise a good environment for international students. Four students from their department of Japanese language and literature joined our Japanese Intensive Course at Fuji Women’s University this summer. Likewise, students from Fuji joined Myongji’s Summer Korean Program in August. This has definitely strengthened our exchange relationship.
